A Great Day to Be Alive

The Samaritans ninth Annual "Run for Someone Else's Life" 5K along the Charles was a great success.

With more that 870 runners and walkers, 50 teams, 125 volunteers, and hundreds of other supporters, Samaritans has already raised more than $125,000 for our life saving efforts! Congratulations to our race winners Rob Espinosa and Aine Hoban, who finished with times of 16:32 and 18:09 respectively. Complete runner race results are posted on the CoolRunning.com website. Congratulations to all of our participants - you ran a great race!

It's not too late to support the 5K! Many of our teams are very close or have exceeded their goals, and the pledges are still coming in.
